The implied main point of this paragraph is  D.  There were several possible reasons that the Titanic’s crew failed to navigate around the iceberg.

It's well known that there where many factors around the sinking of this famous ship, many of there are enlisted in here, that's the key to imply that there where many reasons for this to happen.

The other options are not accurate according to the records that could be collected from survivors as well as the ines in this excerpt.
