When a group of people feel they have been treated unfairly by the government, the US Constitution guarantees you the right to redress the government. I would say this sentence captures the main idea which is what the Japanese Americans did including especially Mary Tsukamoto was succeed in getting redress for their wrongful internment in WWII by the passing of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988.
