You’ve been asked to teach a group of fifth-grade students about the electromagnetic spectrum. In your own words, how would you explain the electromagnetic spectrum? Be sure to include the major types of light waves, what the electromagnetic spectrum is used for, and how the electromagnetic spectrum is organized.

well, i would tell the 5th graders that light is electromagnetic radiation which is visible. The frequency and wavelength is just right so the radiation becomes visible, and that visible radiation goes away from the star and reaches earth.
