Cyber-terrorism is the premeditated, politically motivated attack against information, computer systems, computer programs and data which result in violence against non-combatant targets by sub-national group or clandestine agents. A good example of cyber-terrorism is the July 2009 cyber attack in USA in which there was a series of coordinated attacks against major government websites, financial websites and news agencies.
