we as americans are mostly racial we still use words that could hurt others. in the mid 1900s we were working on voting rights, racial rights and discrimination based on religion. in the 1970s a woman named rosa parks started the montgomery bus boycott and that started the feminist movement. we started the feminist movement and woman eventually got their rights. as we increased our crime rates in cities like austin texas and such that is due to the falcon heights and many other videos to start the racial movement again. We are working with our ending term of obama as our president when we were confronted with the issue of transgender and bisexual rights. which changed our society. i feel we have as many laws but you can always make more to ensure the safety of others and protect their rights as a citizen of the US

Answer:

Nothing is ever perfect, everything at some point will need to succumb to change. The Civil Rights movement is a perfect example of this philosophy, in the sense that it isn’t perfect, and can use more work. Despite this, it’s pretty close to being perfect - when considering all the things it has done for America. It has achieved many of its main goals, such as ending segregation among races, gender and sexualities, and has given everyone equal rights. Unfortunately, there are some instances where racism, sexism and homophobia still exist. This cannot be changed no matter what society does, as people are entitled to free speech and their own opinions. This then means that one of the Civil Rights movement’s goal have not been completely achieved, yet achieved for the most part; thus the Civil Rights movement is not perfect, and could use work.

I don't know how good this is...
