John L. Sullivan is an icon or a legend in the world of heavy weight boxing. He was known as "Boston Strong Boy" but found later in his career to becoming addicted to alcohol and to selling alcoholic beverages (prohibition). Later on in his retirement, he had become an actor, speaker, and a prohibition lecturer.

Sullivan was in favor of Prohibition as he wanted to teach everyone about temperance and not just talk regarding aggressive boxing.

John L. Sullivan was a legendary American professional boxer. He was famous for being a heavyweight champion and especially a strong boy in boxing during the era of bare-knuckle.

However, he got caught in the habit of drinking and selling alcohol. Later he started speaking and giving lectures in support of the prohibition regarding drinking.

Therefore, he started to warn young boxers not to drink alcohol as it may hamper their health and career drastically.
