The probability for the coins, I would think the answer is 2. They could either be different sides or the same. With the cube there is a probability of 6. there are 6 sides it could land on, and since it is just one cube, it is only 6. Hope this helps!

The probability that the coins show different sides, and rolling a 1 or a 6 is:
P = 0.1667
How to get the probability?
Here the experiment is tossing two coins and rolling a number cube of 2 sides.
We know that:
- For each coin, the probability of getting tails(heads) is 1/2.
- For the dice, the probability of getting each number is 1/6.
Now we want to get the probability of getting different outcomes for the coins is given by:
The first coin can have any outcome, so here the probability is 1.
The second coin must have a different outcome, so now we have a restriction, then the probability is P = 0.5
Finally, the probability of rolling a 1 or a 6 (2 outcomes out of 6) is:
P(1 or 6) = 2/6
The joint probability for the event is the product of the individual probabilities:
P = 1*1/2*2/6 = 1/6 = 0.1667
