Inferno, Cantos I-II;
Dante is wandering in a dark forest since he lost the way on the "true path". He does not remember how he lost his way; above, he spots a great hill that might offer him some protection from the shadowed glen.
As Dante tries to climb towards the light, he encounters three angry beasts; one of them, the third one, to be exact, is a she-wolf. The other two are a leopard and a lion.
