The French and Indian War allowed Great Britain to be more involved with the Colonies and their political and economical affairs. It led to the Colonies resenting Great Britain because Britain increased their power over the colonial politics and imposing taxes to pay for their own war debts. They also abandoned their salutary neglect policy. It led to boycotts that made the Colonist no longer import or export goods to Europe. It is also very likely that the French and Indian War led to the American Revolution.
