Mike drank too much at a party last night. This morning he can't remember the previous night's events. What term describes Mike's experience?

This would be considered a blackout I believe, when an individual consumes too much alcohol resulting in a blackout and memory loss. 
The term memory loss would describe Mike's experience.

Not memory loss caused by car accidents or such, but memory loss due to alcohol affecting the brain(blackout).
