The annotated bibliography could potentially be used to provide the reader with specific information about the sources of your writing: It could be used to reveal the sources of your content, to assess the sources' values and usefulness, and to introduce the sources to others who may be less familiar with said sources.

The purpose of the annotation is to:  inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy and quality of the cited sources, help the reader to locate them , Purpose of annotated bibliography , indicate how relevant and valuable are the  sources of information for the investigation, show the scope of the sources of  information available, review the literature on a topic, serve as evidence about quality and  depth of the readings made. and evidence that an issue was investigated.
