1/2(15+20)*15=262.5
We could also find the areas of the shapes individually.
For the square, do 15*15 to get an area of 225. Then find the area of the triangle using the formula 1/2(b)(h), where b is the base and h is the height. We get that the area is 37.5.
Then add the areas together to get that the total area is 262.5
