Describe the experiences of American soldiers on-the-ground in Vietnam. How might this have impacted soldiers as they returned home?

Think of how terrifying it would be to be there, you probably don'y want to be there, you're scared and anxious to get out. When they came home they had nightmares and they usually never spoke of it.
