He gave control to Cyprus and other cities, to their companions for this journey. Like, he gave Cyprus to Guy of Lusignan, a French Knight. Richard died in France, by a crossbowman shot crossbow in Richard's chest, and got Gangrene, which made a cause of death of Richard, the lionheart
