Government Expenditures refer to the expenditures on goods and services to satisfy the members of the community's needs, aiming to contribute to the nation's welfare in short or long-term. It also includes transfer payments such as pensions, social security payment, scholarships and unemployment benefit.

Some others examples of the government's spending are the following: Social programs, infrastructure (Buildings, transports, roads, airports, subways, etc.), health system (Hospital equipment, medicine supplies and sewage), security and defense, scientific research (Space, technology, etc.), communication (Telephone, radio and T.V.), education and subsidy for industries that benefit the community, such as transportation or agriculture.
