To find the hours, you have to find the percentages of the hours in a day (24)
So
school: 25% of 24 = (24)(.25) = 6 hours
eating: 10% of 24 = (24)(.10) = 2.4 hours
sleep: there's no percentage so you have to subtract all the other percentages from 100%. 10+15+10+25 = 60 and 100-60 = 40%
so 40% of 24 = (24)(.40) = 9.6 hours
homework: 10% of 24 = (24)(.10) = 2.4 hours
free time: 15% of 24 = (24)(.15) = 3.6 hours
first you have to know how many hours in a day which is 24
School is 6 hours
Eating is 2.4 hours
Free time 3.6 hours
Homework 2.4 hours
sleep 9.6 hours
if you add the numbers it will equal 24 hours
