Having trouble with subtracting Negative numbers.
I thought if you subtract 4-(-8) it would be -12 instead of (+)12 can someone explain this to me in detail because I'm alittle confused on subtracting negative numbers.
if you subtract a negative from a positive then the answer is positive.any negative number subtracted turns into an addition instead of subtraction because the two negative cancel them selves out
