Caesar Augustus reigned the Rome from 27 BC until his death in AD 14. He was the ruler who created a dynasty and expanded the kingdom to a large extent. He added Egypt, northern Spain and large parts of central Europe under his kingdom.
Monarch is the ruler of a state for life or until abduction. The king or the queen of a region are therefore the monarchs. If there is the tradition of absolute monarchy, the entire power remains in the head of the ruler. However in case of constitutional monarchy, the power of the monarch are limited.
