The reasons for the American Victory in the Revolutionary war are as follows:
- The alliance with France played a major role. Without France's financial and military support, the colonists' chances of defeating the powerful British empire would have been far worse.
- British men had never set foot in America. Since the conflict took place in America, the majority of Britishers did not know the territory. Since most of the fighting experience that British commanders had was in Europe, despite the fact that they were well-trained and frequently had a lot of it.
- Military strategies that worked in that setting failed miserably in America. It's safe to say that the American's acquaintance with the region and the use of local strategies played a big role.
- Fighting in the French and Indian War left Britain with a mountain of debt. Taxing colonists through the Stamp Act in an effort to pay off that debt, actually raised far more animosity than money. The war's increasing costs added to an already massive mountain of debt that Britain could no longer afford.
