Do we have some control over our death? A case study found that upon examination n=344 randomly chosen obituaries that 16 individuals had died in the month preceding their birth month. If these deaths were actually random, we would have expected 1/12 of these individuals to have died each month. At a 95% level of confidence, set up a hypothesis test (based on the CLT) to determine if a smaller percentage of people die in the month preceding their birthday.
