Black is the absence of light.  When something looks black,
it's because ALL of the light that hits it is absorbed, and there's
NO light left to bounce off of it toward our eyes.

Every color on that list, or on any list, is absorbed by the black fabric in the car.
(This is a big part of the reason why we call it "black".)

White light is absorbed too, since white light is a mixture of all colors.

When an object appears black, it means that it absorbs all colors of visible light.

There are seven wavelengths that make up the visible spectrum which are;

  • Red
  • Orange
  • Yellow
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Indigo
  • Violet

The color which an object appears to have depends on which color in the spectrum that it absorbs or emits.

An object that appears black absorbs all the the colors in the visible spectrum. Hence the black interior of the car absorbs; Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet and reflects none.
