bronze , with its in creased durability, and its resistance to corrosion, had a massive advantage over the copper tools and weapons, of other dynasties. mainly consisting of copper, it was made very hard and anti corrosive with the addition of some arsenic, though it was toxic and in the process of production made many diagnosed with cancer and other deadly deseases, and birth defects. also, the copper and stone weapons of the early dynasties and the present, had a history of breaking, bending, and chipping in combat, and with the high resistance to high temp., it was hard to repair the weapons. with bronze, it has a lower melting point than the other materials of the time being, so it could be repaired much easier. after the introduction of iron and steel however, the advantage of bronze was just a peasize compared to the strength and corrosion resistance of demascus steel or iron.
