1. If nothing is done to limit the level of greenhouse gas emissions over the next 100 years, global temperatures would rise, and temperature ranges would increase. Droughts and floods would occur more often.
2. In my opinion, global warming is a world threat, because:
a) The polar icecaps would melt and the volume of water in oceans would increase, leading to reduction of coastlines, and destruction of coastal towns/buildings.
b) Eventually, as global temperatures continue rising, they would become too high for any living thing to survive, and humans, plants, and animals would die.
3. The use of fossil fuels should be reduced. Renewable sources of energy, eg. solar, electricity, etc. should be used. Governments should shut down heavy polluting industries, or pass a law that requires them to purify their gaseous waste.
