How would i find the root, type, and inversion of this chord? This is on a grand staff. I'm very confused because the notes no matter how i arrange it always are too far apart. For example in the problem below, Bb goes to a D but a D doesn't go to a G. A "G" goes to a "B" which goes to a "D". I understand that the type of chord is a minor but the inversion is throwing me off. What i'm thinking is the root is G but the Bb and D are flipped around. Not sure what the notation would be for that
