The most important differences between a transmission electron microscope and a scanning electron microscope are: Rather than the broad static beam used in TEM, the SEM beam is focused to a fine point and scans line by line over the sample surface in a rectangular raster pattern.

The answer for this should be C, " A scanning electron microscope can be used to study the details of a specimen’s surface, while a transmission electron microscope can be used to study the internal structures of a cell."

I got this right on my test, if you have a "lessons" guide or whatever, go on there and go to whatever lson the question says its from.

For Example:

For me under where it says "Question 3" it says "01.03MC" This means I can find it in my lessons, module 1, lesson 1.03.

i hope this helps! <3
