Explanation:

Harry Truman (1884-1972) was the 33rd President of the United States (1945-1953), right after the death of President Franklin Roosevelt. Truman is remembered as the President that dropped the atomic bomb and ended WWII, he is considered one of the greatest presidents of all time.

One of the main factors that contributed to him being a good president was the variety of jobs he had before he became president. Truman worked right after high-school to help with his father financial situation in the mailroom of Kansas City, then as timekeeper for a railroad company, later in the bank industry as a clerk and as a bookkeeper. He worked in the farming industry with his father, and in the National Guard during World War I, Truman was called in service and acted as captain in France. Harry Truman later opened a store for man's clothing and was member of many Civic Organizations, which helped his politic career.

Truman acted as a County Judge, a Senator and as the U.S. Vice-President. All of this wide variety of jobs helped Harry Truman to become a good president because he was a man with a great background, that understood the different necessities of American citizens because he had passed through all kind of situations in his life.
