a line passes through the origin and has a slope of 4. what is the equation of the line that is parallel to the first line and passes through the point (1,-2)

the line we have to find must also have a slope of  ( as its parallel to first line)
point slope for of a line is 
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
here m = 4 ,x1 = 1 and y = -2 so:-

y -(-2) = 4(x - 1)

y + 2 = 4x - 4

y = 4x - 6
