Respuesta :

Answer:

He believed in the belief that one of the motivating factors behind the Holocaust was that the Jews were responsible for World War II.

Explanation:

Paul Joseph Goebbels was a German politician and Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945. An associate and devout supporter of Adolf Hitler, he was known for his oratorical ability in public and for his deep and fanatical anti-Semitism, and his belief in the Jewish international conspiracy that led him to support the extermination of the Jews in the Holocaust.

For several years, Goebbels continued to attempt to become a writer with published works. His journals, which began to be written in 1923, continuing throughout his life, provided a source for his desire to write. The lack of income from his literary works (he wrote two theatrical plays in 1923, none of which he sold) forced him to work as an auctioneer in the stock market and as a bank clerk in Cologne, something he detested. He was dismissed from the bank in August 1923, and returned to Rheydt. During this period he was an avid reader of works by Oswald Spengler, Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Houston Stewart Chamberlain, the British writer of German origin whose book The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century (1899) was one of the standards for the far right in Germany . He also began to study the "social question," and read the works of Marx and Engels. According to biographer Peter Longerich, the entries in Goebbels's diary from late 1923 until early 1924 reflect the feelings of a man who was isolated, preoccupied with "religious-philosophical" issues, and the lack of a course to follow . What he wrote in his diary from mid-December 1923 onwards, show a Goebbels to address the völkisch nationalist movement. In 1941, at the gates of World War II, he wrote in his diary that the Jews were the cause of everything bad he was doing and what made the holocaust a justified and necessary measure.
