1 ) ensure all people who do not have correct attires are kept away from the spillage
2) ensure the person who is cleaning up the spill has protective gloves. Glass is sharp
3) properly dispose of glass pieces in a bin preferably wrapped in paper to ensure others do not come into direct contact with it
4) thoroughly wipe the surface to ensure no smaller shards are left behind
