Stop worrying about what other people think. Just do you. I'm a 15 year old jr and i've been homeschooled my whole life. So I care what people think of me, but I have some buddies who are police officers and they said "I know you're thinking about becoming a cop, so i know this can be hard for people, i don't think that will be the case with you, but you can't care what people think" and that is so true!
I know this isn't the answer you were necessarily looking for, but it I think is one worth hearing.
And as far as being cool, cause I really am trying to help you out. Umm, maybe wear what other kids are wearing, stay up to date with the trends, I don't know, asking the wrong person
