The factors that encouraged a diverse population of immigrants to settle in Pennsylvania were:
Pennsylvania was established by William Penn to be a place where people could be free in religion and to be more equal. It was also founded on a large price of land that William Penn got from King Charles II as payment for a debt owed by the English monarchy to the Penn family.
As a result of the land being extensive, the lands allocated to settlers were much larger and allowed for the construction of larger homes. Coupled with this was that people would not have to join the military to defend the colony.
These factors led to more people moving to Pennsylvania.
