Accommodation - Accommodation is the ability of the eye to change the focal length of the lens by changing its curvature , to see the distant and the nearer object .
To focus on the distant objects - When object is placed at distance, ciliary muscles of eye get relaxed and pull the suspensory ligament attached to lens ,by this eye lens become thin and focus the distant object on retina.
To Focus on nearby objects - When the object is placed nearby, ciliary muscles of eye get contract and make the suspensory ligament loose , it squeezes the eye lens into a more convex shape and focus the nearby object.
