Upper-upper and lower-upper are the two groupings in this class. People who have "new money," or money made via investments, businesses, and other sources, are regarded as belonging to the lower-upper class. The "old money" families from "high society" and aristocracy who have amassed fortune over many generations are regarded as belonging to the upper upper class.
