The Potential Threats screen displays information about security risks to your customers and networks. The security server collects threat information by running the Vulnerability Assessment and Cleaning Service to clean up the threats.
A vulnerable computer has weaknesses in its operating system or applications. Many threats exploit these vulnerabilities to cause damage or gain unauthorized control. As a result, vulnerabilities not only pose a risk to the individual computers on which they reside but also to other computers on your network. The Vulnerability section lists all the clients on your network for which vulnerabilities have been discovered since the last vulnerability assessment. You can see the last update time in the upper right corner of the screen.
The Potential Threat Screen classifies clients based on the level of risk they pose to the network. The risk level is calculated by Trend Micro and represents the relative number and severity of vulnerabilities for each customer.
