What is Excretion?

This is a process which is performed by all living organisms and it involves the elimination of metabolic waste from the body system.

Examples of metabolic wastes which are eliminated from the body include carbon dioxide, excess salts etc. They are removed because building up in the body will lead to the damage of organs and if serious death mat occur in this type of scenario.

Air is composed of different gases and they aren't changed however the oxygen which is breathe in is usually more than the one which is excreted due to the body making use of it for its daily activities.
