The four fundamental forces of nature are as follows:
1. Gravity
Gravity refers to the force by which a body attracts and pulls other objects towards the center of its body. It is by this gravitational force that we can walk on the land and enable things to drop downwards. It is also responsible for the tides in the seas.
2. Electromagnetic Force
Electromagnetic force or electromagnetism refers to the forces that are exerted by two electrically charged bodies. This force takes in the use of protons and electrons, which are oppositely charged particles and are hence attracted to each other.
3. Strong Nuclear Force
It is the force that helps in binding groups of quarks together to create a stable sub-atomic particle like the proton or electron. It also binds the protons and electrons to create the nucleus of an atom.
4. Weak Nuclear Force
The weak nuclear force is also called the weak force, and it forms one of the fundamental forces of nature. It deals with handling the decay of unstable subatoms and also initializes the nuclear fusion reaction, which provides energy and fuel to the sun.
