- Extensive familiarity with the operation of all tools, equipment, and techniques used in putting out fires, avoiding their occurrence, and performing rescue operations.
- However, I saw that they reduced all of my two-word phrases containing firefighters and firefighting to a single word. According to my research, both approaches are suitable. Although both are technically correct, I rather prefer the two-word version. Nonetheless, I won't insist.
- An organized group of firefighters operating under the direction of a crew leader or other designated official is known as a fire crew.
