The basic reason why governments try to maintain order is to control and contain the national security.

Why is important for  to maintain order and control in the state?

It is important for  to maintain order and control in the state so as to be able to contain the excess of the public and make sure everyone is safe under the government.

It should be noted that government should be able to help in:

  • maintaining order
  • providing public services
  • providing national security
  • providing economic security
  • economic assistance.

National security can be described as the capability of the state to be able to cater cover the state and the citizens in term of the needed protection as well as defence .

The elements of National security are;

  • Communications as well as Human security.
  • Monitoring ad well as Coordination.
  • Oversight as well as accountability.
  • Human rights as well as Justice.
