Now, since we want to find the value of the angle ∠BCA, then it means we have to use trigonometric ratio to get;

x/y = sin BCA

Plugging in the relevant values gives us;

8/23 = sin BCA

∠BCA = sin⁻¹(8/23)

∠BCA = 20.355

Approximating to 3 significant figures gives us;

∠BCA = 20.4°
