Rights are referred to as access to perform certain events, these rights are granted by the government of the country to perform certain actions. In the United States, there are Bills of rights that provides access to their citizens with freedom of speech along with freedom of religion.
These rights help individuals to express their thoughts and opinions to the government. The freedom of religion promotes secularism where every individual has the right to choose their own religion in which they believe. This is to protect individual interests.
To limit this right, the government must establish that it has a "compelling state interest" that the planned restriction is intended to preserve. Suppose if any woman wants to abort a child then in this case the government restricts the women's rights to protect her health.
