Neoclassicism was the art that was practiced and seen in the mid-early 1800s to early 1900s. It was influenced by Renaissance which was inspired by the enlightenment. It started the French Revolution in France.
Romanticism is the art that was seen between the 1800 - the mid-1900s. It did not follow the idea of enlightenment and depicted nature and used colors to portray emotions and feelings.
