Why housefly is called housefly ?

According to logic,
If the housefly is there is the house it is called housefly.

If the housefly is there in the school, why it is not called as School fly ?

Housefly are called Housefly cause they are commonly found in houses

They can also be found in school but we don't call them schoolfly because that is very rare in school
