From Strayer Chapter 10, we can deduce that the Jewish people, Christians and Muslims actually saw themselves as a divided entity.

There was competition and outright hostility which brought about rivalry and political separation.

The Crusades actually worsened things as there were conflicts among the Crusaders and the local people.

What are the Crusades?

The Crusades were actually known to be a series of religious wars that began and supported by the Latin Church during the Middle Ages. These Crusades were carried in order to recover the Christianity as it was being overrun by Islamic rule.

We can actually see that the Jewish people, Christians and Muslims saw themselves as different. There was competition and rivalry.
