A mass of 10kg is moving in a circular Path of radius 2m with a uniform speed of 50ms.
Find the centripetal acceleration and the corresponding force

  • Radius=r=2m
  • Speed=v=50m/s

Force:-

[tex]\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=\dfrac{10(50)^2}{2}[/tex]

[tex]\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=5(2500)[/tex]

[tex]\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=12500[/tex]

Now using Newton's second law

[tex]\\ \rm\hookrightarrow A_c=\dfrac{F_c}{m}=\dfrac{12500}{10}=1250m/s^2[/tex]
