Confucius's principles had a basis in common Chinese tradition and belief. He championed strong family loyalty, and respect of elders by their children and of husbands by their wives. He also recommended family as a basis for ideal government. He espoused the well-known principle "Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself", the golden rule.
So basically the two concepts are strong family loyalty and respect.. He believed that if we had family as a basis in government then There would be more trust and respect between the leaders and their people. This also applied to family. If you followed these principles (along with a few others) and followed the golden rule the society would have more peace and harmony between everyone
