3.75 - 1.90 = 1.85$ NEW PRICE

DISCOUNT:

1.85 x 0.2 = 0.37

1.85 - 0.37 = 1.48$ NEW PRICE

TAX: STEP

0.1 x 1.48 = 0.148

round to the nearest hundreth = 0.50$

0.50 + 1.48 = 1.98$ NEW AND FINAL PRICE
