A is my best guess, because Laozi wants people to know the importance of nature and recommend people to treat nature well. (That includes people from every budgets)
B doesn’t make sense, because is has different concept from Confucianism (at least from the creator’s thought that I learned in Chinese classes.
C, I can’t acknowledge that statement. I have never heard that source before.
D, It could make sense but it shouldn’t be the most important, because it is mainly focus on Chinese region, although it did spread, but I haven’t heard any connection between Daoism and Japanese religions. (Also Daoism is not just a religion, it is also a phiolosophy)
