The solid which has twice the number of edges as faces is a rectangular

prism.

What is a Prism?

A prism has two polygonal faces which are usually parallel to the other faces

parallelograms. There are different types of prisms which include:

  • Rectangular prism
  • Triangular prism

A rectangular prism has 6 faces and it has 12 edges while a triangular prism

has 5 faces and 9 edges. This makes  rectangular prism  the most

appropriate choice as the number of edges is twice more than the face.
