United Nations is formed by the Treaty of San Francisco in 1945, as a replacement of the ineffective League of Nations. The purpose of the formation of the United Nations is to prevent a global scale war happening again and promote international peace among the globe, to show that they'll send in peacekeeping forces in disputed regions and civil wars.

The United Nations is an intergovermental organization which was founded in 1945, in the aftermath of WWII, with the main aim of fostering coorperation among nations and joint action, and for the development of agreements and friendly relationships among countries that would give rise to an international and stable peace and security,  instead of the former climate of confrontations, military conflicts and wars.
