Jillian flew to New Zealand for summer vacation. While she was there, she rode her bike 1/3 of the time. She spent 1/4 of the remaining time traveling by train, and the rest of the time she stayed at a beach house. If she rode her bike for 24 hours, how many days did she ride the train? If the time she rode her bike is 24, then 24*3 would be the Whole time she was there. She was there for a total of 72 hours.
Subtract 24 from 72 because it's 1/3 and you need the other time.
You get 48.
